About the hotel:
My room was next to the bar and the music installation, so going to bed early was no option. The service was not like I am used to in Thailand, the people looked bored and absolutely not interested. The location and the facilities where good.

About the hotel:
this time we stayed in a cheap bungalow: I know we could find the same for less but the service is what really makes the difference. The hotel is nice and clean, the garden is perfect as the beach front. The restaurant has an international menu and it s the cleanest I ve ever seen in Thailand (I took a look at the backoffice too). The staff is always efficent and polite and anyting I needed I just had to ask and I had it.

About the hotel:
I wasn t impressed with the Central Cottage nor the area it was located. The beach was lacking waves. Great for a family with small children. We stayed in the 500baht bungalow and ours happened to be located right next to the bar where they played loud music until 12:00 or 1:00am. We asked to be moved to a quieter location and were told okay in the morning but then someone knew came and we were stuck. Also, the lock on the door was sketch. It was obvious someone had previously messed with the knob for entry. All in all, I would say to choose a different part of the island. This location is somewhat remote maybe a 45 minute ride from the pier. Taxis are expensive as in 300baht per head if not more. The road is mostly dirt and is quite unsafe to travel on a moto if you choose to rent one to see other areas of the island. Beware if you do rent a moto be sure not to crash it. If you do you will pay. There is a really cool place to the right side of the beach I think called the Paradise where you can find fantastic food.

Very pleasant accommodation in good location, majority of staff were very friendly and helpful. Food quality is excellent and arrives extremely quickly, laundry service was good, prices were average fo this area. Only problems were that the pool was a little dirty, the room was not cleaned every day which we would expect for what we paid and the lack of security deposit safe for our valuable belongings was a real concern. Overall a nice resort and would recommend to anyone looking for accommodation on this beach.

About the hotel:
Very nice location away from the main part of the island where the parties take place (45 min drive over some pretty hardcore terrain) but a great place to go and relax. Lovely little strip of beach with some other cool places. Check out the Dolphin nearby.

About the hotel:
If you are looking to relax and unwind and lie on a very beautiful beach in peace with a good book and cold beer without being harrassed by people trying to sell you little wooden frogs, flutes, corn, etc...then this place is it! Stayed in the superior beach front bungalow which probably had the most comfortable, soft beds I have ever slept in, with the sliding door basically opening up on the beach. The rest of the hotel and restuarant is good value for money...if you don t like the restuarant, ther are many other nice ones just a couple of steps away on each side.

Very good location, nice beach with good atmosphere. We stayed in a room in the brick house, high standard, nice furniture, refridgerator and tv but very bad roomservice. Breakfast is not good enough for the price. You will find better places to stay at this lovely beach.

Had a superiour chalet C41 alongside massage area. Everything worked fine. Great view to beach/sea. Stayed 6 nights, chalet cleaned/stocked 4 times. Staff young but efficient. Had to chase up transfer from Thong Sala. Snorkling trip cheaper here also.

Absolutely gorgeous. It seemed to be the best food on what was a lovely quiet beach. There was very little fuss about anything and everyone was nice. We lost our camera which was a bit of a downer, but as to whether it was anything more sinister than loosing, I couldn t say. Best place I ve been to in years although we did have a superior bungalow

Central Cottage Resort Central Cottage Resort is located in Thong Nai Pan Yai, One of Koh Phangans most beautiful beaches. It is also a short walking distance to Than Prawet Waterfall.
Most of our rooms are located in the garden and some even dirclty at the beach, ideal for families where the sand is right around you.
