A very nice hotel with friendly and acommodating staff. Much to choose at breakfast but unfortunately we couldn t get cheese when we asked for it. The room was big, we had a lot of space, and it was perfect with two bathrooms for our family. The mattresses were unfortunately hard and uncomfortable. We recommend this hotel!

We stayed at a family suite room on Hill side wing (Kacha resort). The Hill side part of the hotel with pool, pool bar and Italian restaurant was fantastic and the room was really great. The beach was unfortunately much better on the north part of White Sand Beach.

The first room we got when we arrived was on the seaside of the resort in the main building, first floor. It was very worn down and smelled of old smoke. The staff was very service minded and we got a room in the new building across the road. This room vas very nice and had a pool view. Koh Chang Kacha is a charter hotel with lots of familys and the poolarea is quite lively. If you want escape that you should go down to the beach and stay there during the day. There are lots of little restaurants that will lend you a sunbed if you eat or drink something.

Mycket bra hotell,nära den fina stranden. Stora bra familjerum speciellt på nybyggda delen hillside. Nytt och fräscht. Trevlig personal och bra restaurang. Bra läge på Ko Chang för familjer som vill se lite folk och rörelse kvällstid ! Vi återkommer gärna Hälsningar Katarina o Urban Sporrong med familj.

Very nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff and the location was excellent, right at the sea. We lived in the Hillside building and the room was very modern and clean. However, the beds was extremely stiff, we woke up with aching bodies every morning, it was impossible to sleep any other way than on the back... The pool area(s) was great but as usual there was almost impossible to get a sun chair since they were booked with towels very early every day. The breakfast buffet was good but the restaurant was crowded in the morning, sometimes we had to wait to get a table. However, the overall experience is that this one of the best hotels we have lived at in Thailand. The rates of the room was very reasonable compared to other hotels at same standard. I can definitely recommend Kacha Resort and I would probably return if I go to Koh Chang again.

A clean, nice, very good hotel. The hill side pool, with it s water slide is fresh and clean. The sea side pool is not by the sea, it s beside a concrete wall with the sea below (and ever too crowded). I liked the uniforms of the staff and the efficiency of the house keeping staff. All together a great hotel for charter/package travelers.

LOCATION MAP



The resort is located on Koh Chang island on the east coast of the Gulf of Thailand. The distance from Bangkok is 330 km and takes about 4 hours by car or bus to Trat, the provincial capital. Driving time from Pattaya City is approximately 3 hours.

Bangkok Airways flies from Suvarnabhumi Airport to Trat twice daily with a flight time of 55 minutes.

From there are three piers (Ao Thammachat, Centrepoint and Laem Ngob) with ferries leaving to Koh Chang on a frequent basis every day. The ferry ride takes 40 minutes to the pier at Koh Chang and from there the resort is just 15 minutes away on White Sand Beach (Had Sai Khao).
